Islamabad: The Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, has characterized a recent statement from the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as an admission of frustration.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar remarked that the PTI founder’s plea to be released from jail in exchange for postponing a protest reflects the individual’s growing anxiety.
The Minister further stated that the PTI founder’s supposed call for unrest on Sunday was ultimately a bid for a ‘deal’ with authorities. He pointed out the contradiction in the PTI founder’s stance, noting that the person who once declared a refusal to make deals is now urgently seeking one and is allegedly intent on undermining the federation.
