Lahore, The 164th Sports Gala of King Edward Medical University was brought to a grand close with Provincial Minister of Department of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Khawaja Salman Rafique gracing the event as the special guest. The closing ceremony saw the presence of distinguished faculty members including Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Ejaz Hussain, Registrar Prof. Syed Asghar Ali Naqi, and several professors, underscoring the importance of extracurricular activities in medical education.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the event was marked by the attendance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mehmood Ayaz, who extended a warm welcome to Minister Rafique by presenting a bouquet of flowers. In his address, Minister Rafique highlighted the pivotal role of Punjab’s medical schools in maintaining high educational standards and contributing significantly to the healthcare sector in Pakistan.
