Minister Condemns Human Rights Violations in Kashmir at Islamabad Rally

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhary Salik Hussain, voiced a strong condemnation of human rights abuses in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir during a rally held at D-Chowk in Islamabad. The event marked Kashmir Solidarity Day, underscoring Pakistan’s support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Chaudhary Salik Hussain expressed deep concern over the ongoing oppression faced by the Kashmiri population. He called on the international community to swiftly address these violations and pursue a peaceful resolution to the Kashmir issue.

The Minister acknowledged the significant contributions of Hurriyat leaders, praising their perseverance in the fight for justice and freedom. He emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to the United Nations Security Council resolutions, advocating for a fair plebiscite to allow Kashmiris to decide their future.

Chaudhary Salik Hussain concluded by reaffirming Pakistan’s dedication to advocating for a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute on international platforms, promising continued solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of justice and freedom.
