Minister Attaullah Tarar Advocates for Detailed Review of Judicial Dissent in Reserved Seats Case


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, has called for an in-depth review of the dissenting opinions from two judges in the reserved seats case, highlighting the potential implications for Pakistan’s democratic processes.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a press interaction in Lahore, Minister Tarar expressed his concerns about the possibility of setting a regressive precedent through the case’s resolution. He emphasized the necessity of closing all legal loopholes to protect the integrity of democratic institutions in Pakistan.
