Minister Attaullah Tarar Acknowledges Overseas Pakistanis’ Economic Impact


Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has commended the significant economic contributions of overseas Pakistanis, emphasizing their essential role in the nation’s development. In a televised message on Sunday, he announced an Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad aimed at honoring expatriates for their achievements and economic input.



The Minister highlighted the importance the state places on the contributions of overseas citizens, who are considered the pride of the nation due to their substantial remittances, which amount to billions of dollars annually.



Tarar noted that expatriates are being warmly welcomed at the convention, reflecting the country’s appreciation for their efforts.



He also mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the nation’s economy has seen improvement over the past year. He expressed optimism about continued progress in the future.



The event underscores Pakistan’s commitment to recognizing the vital role of its citizens living abroad and their impact on the national economy.
