Islamabad, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ameer Muqam has committed to providing necessary resources for the timely completion of various development initiatives in Gilgit Baltistan, emphasizing the strategic importance of these projects for the region.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a briefing in District Nagar, Minister Muqam directed officials to ensure the completion of the Nagar Highway within the set timeframe. He noted that this highway would serve as an alternative to the Karakoram Highway, significantly benefiting the local population and enhancing the experience of tourists visiting the area.
Additionally, the Minister’s visit to District Hunza was met with a warm reception from the local community, who presented several proposals addressing regional issues, reflecting their active engagement and the importance of the projects to their daily lives and economic well-being.
