Islamabad: In a significant step towards modernizing national data collection, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal unveiled the key findings of Pakistan’s first digital census, emphasizing the transparency achieved through technological integration.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the launch of the Digital Census Key Findings Report in Islamabad, Minister Iqbal detailed the collaborative efforts that ensured the census’s success. He credited the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for developing the software that played a crucial role in the census process, reflecting a milestone in Pakistan’s use of digital tools for governmental data collection.
