Sheikhupura: Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, has articulated the critical link between political stability, the promotion of knowledge, and economic development in Pakistan. Speaking at a local ceremony, he emphasized the need for sustained peace and stability as foundational elements for the country’s strength and prosperity.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal drew on religious teachings to underscore the importance of knowledge, citing the Holy Quran’s revelation to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) as a divine endorsement of the role of knowledge in societal advancement. He lamented that straying from the path of knowledge and religious teachings has led to a regression in various sectors within the country.
The Minister’s comments reflect a broader call for a return to foundational values of learning and stability to drive Pakistan forward economically and socially.
