Minister Abdul Aleem Khan Promises Full Support to Chinese Investors at Beijing Expo


Islamabad: Minister for Board of Investment and Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan has pledged comprehensive support to Chinese companies looking to invest in Pakistan, highlighting the favorable investment opportunities available across various sectors. This assurance was given during his virtual address at the opening session of the International Fair in Beijing.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Khan emphasized the attractive investment prospects in Pakistan, specifically pointing to Special Economic Zones, Export Processing Zones, and the Gwadar Free Zone as prime opportunities for Chinese businesses. He detailed the potential for growth in agriculture, livestock, food processing, and mineral sectors, which are ripe for development and can benefit significantly from foreign investment.



The minister’s remarks come as more than 150 Pakistani entrepreneurs participate in the Beijing fair, showcasing Pakistan’s readiness to engage in substantial economic collaborations with Chinese counterparts. This engagement underscores a mutual interest in strengthening economic ties and fostering long-term investment relationships between the two nations.
