Islamabad: Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan has announced a comprehensive strategy to include all relevant stakeholders in the exploration and enhancement of the gem and stone sector.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, presiding over the Steering Committee on Gems and Stones meeting, Minister Khan outlined the government’s dedication to revitalizing the gem industry. This includes upgrading infrastructure and transforming existing institutions in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan into Centers of Excellence in the first phase of the development plan.
