Srinagar: The Meteorological Department in Srinagar has forecasted a shift in weather patterns in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, anticipating generally cloudy skies with rain and snow from October 23rd to 25th. This weather change is expected after a period of clear and dry conditions across the region.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the weather in Jammu and Kashmir will remain dry with no significant weather disturbances from October 17th to 22nd, 2024. “The weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir from 17th to 22nd October 2024 predicts generally dry conditions across the region,” the MeT department reported, noting the stability in the weather for the upcoming week.
Starting October 23rd, the region is expected to experience a change, with cloudy weather rolling in and potential light rain in lower areas and light snow in isolated higher reaches during the evening and night. “This change in weather is likely to affect several places across the region,” the forecast added.
The MeT department further detailed that from October 24th to 25th, more extensive cloud cover will bring light to moderate rainfall and light snow across the higher altitudes, affecting many parts of the region. This expected weather shift marks a significant change after the preceding dry period.
