Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani have said that to deal with the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah, there is a need to forget mutual differences and promote unity and brotherhood. He said that we can solve the problems faced by the Muslim Ummah only by establishing unity and illusion in our ranks. He asked the Pakistani nation on the occasion of New Year to reiterate their commitment to promote the country’s development and prosperity with new determination and determination and to highlight the true message of Islam by following Islamic traditions in a better way. He expressed these views in his separate messages on the occasion of the beginning of the new Islamic year 1445 Hijri.
On this occasion, the speaker said that this holy month reminds us of the great sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala. By following the great sacrifice made by the martyrs of Karbala for truth and justice, we can establish peace in the world. He further said that the sacrifice of martyrs of Karbala teaches us the lesson of selflessness, patience and perseverance. The speaker said that Islam is a religion of peace, love and tolerance and sectarianism negates extremism and prejudice. He asked the Ulama and Mashaykhs to play a full role in the promotion of religious harmony and to spread the true message of Islam. He emphasized on the need to forget the mutual differences and adopt a common strategy.
On this occasion, Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani said that Muharram al-Haram teaches us about selflessness and sacrifice. He said that this holy month reminds us of the great sacrifices of the martyrs of Karbala which they offered for the sake of Islam. He emphasized the need for patience, tolerance and promotion of Islamic brotherhood to the Muslim Ummah.
