New York, February 06, 2022 (PPI-OT): A memorandum has been submitted to the United Nations urging the World Body to play its role in liberation of Junagarh state, which is under India’s illegal occupation for the past 75 years.
The memorandum was submitted by the Nawab of Junagarh in the UN office. The memorandum said that under Vienna Convention, Nawab of Junagarh and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had signed the agreement about accession of the State to Pakistan.
However, India illegally occupied the State like it did in Jammu and Kashmir one month after the signing of the agreement. The memorandum has expressed the hope that Junagarh would one day become a part of Pakistan.
