Srinagar, October 09, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police locked up the main entrance of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President, Mehbooba Mufti’s residence to prevent her from visiting Islamabad district on Saturday.

The police also cross parked a mobile bunker vehicle at the gate of Mehbooba Mufti’s high security Gupkar Road residence in order to prevent her from undertaking her scheduled visit. PDP on Friday demanded the resignation of Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, due to deteriorating situation in IIOJK and surge in civilian killings in IIOJK. The PDP workers attempted to take out a unity march in view of recent targeted killings which was stopped by the police.

“Ironically the Indian government spreads canards that Kashmiri Muslims don’t stand up for non-Muslims here. Truth is that this vicious hateful propaganda suits Bharatiya Janata Party’s electoral narrative and prospects,” tweeted the PDP chief after the rally was stopped.

She also claimed that security agencies had prior information about such attacks. “Yet they failed to protect these innocent lives. Is it because they are too busy devoting all their energies to firing government employees and impounding passports of common Kashmiris,” she said in.
