Srinagar, Mehbooba Mufti, the President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of implementing tactics to prevent her from entering Parliament, suggesting that her presence would be a significant challenge for them.
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking in Bijbehara, Islamabad district, Mufti expressed her belief that the BJP is deliberately acting to obstruct her political path to Parliament. She asserted that the BJP recognizes the potential complications her election would pose to their agenda.
Mufti further argued that her party, the PDP, is seen as a formidable voice for the people of the region, effectively articulating their concerns and opposition to what she described as the BJP’s “anti-people plans.” She maintained that the BJP’s actions are not only aimed at her personally but are part of a broader strategy to dismantle her party’s influence and presence in Jammu and Kashmir.
