Mehbooba Mufti Accuses BJP Administration of Humiliating Kashmiri Society

Srinagar, Mehbooba Mufti, President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has accused the BJP-led administration of daily humiliation of the Kashmiri society. Her comments reflect ongoing tensions and grievances in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mufti, while speaking at a party workers’ convention in the Chanapora area of Srinagar, emphasized the need for united action against what she perceives as an escalating attack on the rights and dignity of the people in the occupied territory. She raised concerns about the denial of basic services, including electricity and job opportunities, to the Kashmiri population.

Mufti stated, “It is imperative that we rise collectively against oppression and humiliation that is being perpetrated against us. The Kashmiri society as a whole is not only being seen with uncalled-for suspicion but humiliated on a daily basis.” These remarks underscore a growing sentiment of dissatisfaction and resistance among some segments of the population in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
