Islamabad, February 21, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan says media is working independently in the country and the government will not impose any ban on it. Talking to a private news channel, he said the objective of Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act is to stop the fake news and it is totally against the fake news but not any person.
He said the incumbent government is strongly against to play with dignity and self-respect of any person. He said the opposition parties should give their proposals regarding PECA if they want to make it more effective.
