KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab awarded iPhones and laptops to students from government schools who achieved top positions in the matriculation examinations, acknowledging their academic accomplishments. During a meeting in his office, attended by members of the Council of Baldia Uzma Karachi, the mayor presented an iPhone to Hafiz Abdul Rafi for securing the first position and a laptop to Romesa for achieving the second position.
According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Mayor Wahab expressed pride in the achievements of students from government schools in Karachi and emphasized the importance of encouraging academic excellence. He stated that the awards were a personal initiative to motivate the students to continue their studies with dedication, aiming for greater success in future examinations. The mayor highlighted the students as examples for the nation, demonstrating that dedication and hard work can yield significant results despite limited resources.
Mayor Wahab further noted the eagerness of young individuals to pursue higher education, expressing optimism about their future prospects.
