Karachi, July 05, 2023 (PPI-OT): Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that cycle track and walking track are being built in Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim Clifton, sports and other entertainment facilities will also be provided here on the demand of the citizens. Urban Forests will be created in every town to make the city green and beautiful. He said this on the occasion of his visit to Bagh ibn Qasim in Clifton. Mayor Karachi inspected different parts of the park and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers. He said the Bagh ibn Qasim, located on the beach, is very attractive to the citizens as well as the visitors and tourists due to its design and location, which is the reason why a large number of citizens come here for entertainment, while people from outside the city and other countries also visit this huge park in Karachi.

He said the Clifton Beach has gained special importance due to the historical Kothari Parade, so it will be developed and improved, cycle track and walking track will promote healthy activities in Bagh ibn Qasim. Futsal facility will also be provided and this spacious park can be used for other recreational activities as well. This Park located on the beach is very convenient and suitable for recreational activities. Mayor Karachi said all the major cities of the world have these types of projects which aim to develop coastal areas that are attractive and interesting for citizens and tourists, which also promotes tourism and these places make the city known around the world.

Karachi is also among the major and international cities of the world and the best coastal locations are available for these types of projects that can be developed in a modern manner. He said that apart from Bagh ibn Qasim, other parks, playgrounds and open spaces of Karachi will also be improved so that citizens can make maximum use of them and promote positive and healthy activities in the city.
