Srinagar, The Baba Nagri shrine in Ganderbal district hosted a significant number of devotees during the 128th annual Urs celebrations of the Sufi saint, Bab Jee Sahib Larvi Naqashbandi, drawing over 100,000 attendees from across the region and beyond.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the event saw an influx of devotees to the shrine located in Wangat village, approximately 45 km from Srinagar city. Bab Jee Sahib Larvi Naqashbandi, revered as an 18th-century social reformer and the patron saint of the Gujjar/Bakarwal community, continues to influence many with his teachings on love, compassion, and spiritual growth, resonating with people from diverse backgrounds.
The large gathering highlights the enduring spiritual and cultural significance of Sufi traditions in the region.
