Srinagar, Recent incidents of suspicious fires in occupied Jammu and Kashmir have raised concerns, especially with the recent claim from shopkeepers that masked men are behind the burning of several shops in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, shopkeepers, citing evidence from CCTV footage, labeled the event as a plot. They suggested the involvement of the Hindutva brigade, led by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, with the objective of evacuating the Batmaloo complex in the city. The episode unfolded on Monday night when these unidentified men reportedly came with petrol cans, setting fire to the establishments and reducing them to ashes. Six shops were impacted by this act. The shopkeepers appealed to the authorities for a thorough investigation and action in light of the events.
