Srinagar, September 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have welcomed the appointment of Masarrat Aalam Butt as new Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. PHC Nazim Aala Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal in a statement issued in Srinagar, while congratulating Masarrat Aalam Butt said that he had a lot of sacrifices and contributions towards the freedom movement.
The Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, in a statement in Muzaffarabad described the appointment of Masarrat Aalam Butt as APHC Chairman as timely and accurate decision. He said, Masarrat Aalam Butt is a bold and steady leader and even presently he is under illegal detention. He added that the entire population of Kashmir would support Masarrat Aalam Butt for leading the ongoing struggle for securing their right to self-determination from India and in this regard would render any kind of sacrifice.
