New Delhi, July 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):The incarcerated All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, has appealed to the members of G20 not to attend the meeting of the group India is planning to host in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Masarrat Aalam Butt in his message from New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail said since Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed region, holding of an international conference within the territory would be a blatant violation of the United Nations principles and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir.

The APHC Chairman maintained that IIOJK is currently witnessing grave human rights violations at the hands of Indian troops and prevention of these abuses is the foremost responsibility of the international community. He also urged the governments of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir to intensify their diplomatic efforts to foil India’s nefarious plan of hosting the G20 meeting in IIOJK.
