Karachi: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry recognized 22 female students with cash prizes for achieving A-1 grades in their matriculation examinations at a ceremony held at the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Head Office. Each student received Rs. 25,000, marking a historic event where all awardees were female, showcasing the rising academic prowess of women.
The Minister also honored teachers who guided these students, highlighting their significant contribution. In his address, Minister Chaudhry emphasized the youth’s crucial role in national progress, stating they are future leaders in all fields.
Certificates were also awarded to female students completing computer training at the KPT Industrial Home Computer Centre in Keamari. Minister Chaudhry praised the program for equipping women with essential digital skills for the modern job market.
Addressing the media, the Minister stressed the press’s role in community development and combating misinformation, noting the unity among civilians, media, and armed forces as a testament to Pakistan’s resilience during national challenges.
The ceremony concluded with a commemorative group photograph of the students with Minister Chaudhry, capturing a moment of collective pride and inspiration.
