Islamabad, During a recent visit to the Naval Headquarters, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Mr. Qaiser Ahamed Sheikh engaged in discussions with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf about the strategic importance of maritime security and its potential to spur the country’s economic growth.
According to Press Information Department, the discussions focused on Pakistan’s role in regional maritime security in the Indian Ocean and the vast economic prospects of the maritime sector. The meeting also included a comprehensive briefing on the challenges and opportunities in Pakistan’s maritime domain, aimed at enhancing awareness and development in this pivotal economic sector.
