Islamabad, February 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Systematic oppression and marginalization of Muslims being witnessed in the Bharitiya Janta Party (BJP) ruled India has vindicated the concept of the Two-Nation Theory on the basis of which Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah led the movement to create Pakistan.

The Modi’s fascism reaffirmed that the Muslims needed a separate state in the sub-continent to live their life according to their religious, cultural and social norms, said a report released by Kashmir Media Service, today. It said that the ongoing repression unleashed by the Hindutva extremists backed by the BJP government against defenseless Indian Muslims has validated that the Two-Nation Theory is even more relevant today.

The report pointed out that the Indian Supreme Court’s verdict regarding the Babri Masjid, making of anti-Muslims laws like the Citizenship Amendment Act, attacks on Muslims, ban on hijab as well as scrapping of Kashmir specific Article 370 prove that the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision that the future of Muslims of the subcontinent lay in a separate homeland still holds true. The report maintained that the Hindutva policies of RSS-backed BJP regime pose a great threat to peace in South Asia.
