Man Dies in Suspected Suicide After BJP Leader’s Election Loss in Maharashtra


New Delhi, In a tragic incident, 38-year-old Sachin Kondiba Munde died after being crushed by a bus in Maharashtra’s Beed district, with police suspecting it to be a case of suicide.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred on the Ahmedpur-Andhori road near Borgaon Pati at around 9 pm. Sachin, a truck driver from Yestar in Latur’s Ahmedpur, had earlier made a video threatening to take his own life if BJP leader Pankaja Munde lost the Lok Sabha election from Beed. Pankaja Munde ultimately lost the seat to Congress leader Bajrang Sonawane by 6,553 votes.



The police are investigating the incident and suspect it may be a case of suicide. The bus driver has been arrested, and an inquiry is underway to determine if the death was an accident or intentional. Sachin was standing behind the bus when it reversed, resulting in his tragic death. The incident has sparked shock and sadness in the region, with many lamenting the loss of a life over a political election outcome.
