Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim Begins Three-Day Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad: Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to arrive in Pakistan today for a three-day visit, aimed at bolstering the multifaceted relationship between the two countries.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is visiting at the invitation of Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes ministers, deputy ministers, and senior officials.

The leaders are scheduled to discuss a comprehensive agenda designed to enhance Pakistan-Malaysia ties in areas such as trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, the halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people contacts. Additionally, they will address regional and global developments.

This visit marks a significant step in reinforcing the strong bilateral ties shared by Pakistan and Malaysia, which are deeply rooted in shared history, culture, and faith. The engagement is seen as a pivotal opportunity to deepen the brotherly relations between the two nations.
