Loralai Schools Commemorate Exploitation Day with Ceremonies Highlighting Kashmir Issue

Loralai: Schools across Loralai, including Jan Ganokhan Government Middle School and Government Girls Higher Secondary School Cantt, hosted ceremonies marking Loralai Exploitation Day, focusing on the Kashmir issue and India’s actions in the region since August 5, 2019.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the events were conducted under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Loralai Miran Baloch and featured various activities such as the national anthem, poetry readings, speeches, and essay writing contests. Students and teachers actively participated, using the platform to express their support for the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination and to reflect on the broader implications of the conflict.

During the ceremonies, Principal Medium Shamshad and other faculty members addressed the students, emphasizing the significance of August 5 as a dark day in regional history, marking the beginning of India’s heightened control over Jammu and Kashmir. They praised the resilience and bravery of the Kashmiri people in the face of Indian policies aimed at legal subjugation and highlighted the failure of these oppressive measures to quench the Kashmiris’ pursuit of their rights.

The speakers reiterated that the resolution of the Kashmir dispute is essential for lasting peace in South Asia, calling on India to acknowledge and address the conflict to move towards regional stability and security.
