Loralai: Commissioner of Loralai Division, Saadat Hasan, emphasized the government’s commitment to timely complete local development projects to improve facilities for the region’s populace. This statement was made during a high-level meeting which reviewed ongoing projects within the division.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, “The meeting saw participation from various departmental heads including Additional Commissioner Asghar Shehbaz Rand, Director of Local Government Sajjad Naeem, and others. Discussions focused on the progress of key projects like the Spira Ragha Road and the new Medical College.” The Spira Ragha Road, crucial for enhancing connectivity to Quetta and facilitating cheaper transportation of local produce, is reportedly 55% complete in terms of physical construction and 49% in financial terms.
Project details were further elaborated by Raz Muhammad Nasir, Project Director of the Loralai Medical College, who highlighted rapid progress on the construction of essential structures such as the teaching hospital and hostels. The meeting also covered updates from the Irrigation, Water Management, and Public Health Engineering departments regarding their respective projects.
Commissioner Hasan announced plans to inspect these projects soon to ensure quality and adherence to timelines, stating that legal actions would be considered against any lapses in project execution.
