Loralai Division Commissioner Calls for Increased Oversight and Community Engagement in Governance

Loralai: Commissioner Saadat Hasan of the Loralai Division emphasized the government’s commitment to improving basic services for the people by utilizing all available resources and enhancing administrative oversight. During a meeting with Deputy Commissioners, he urged increased field visits and the organization of open courts to directly address public concerns and ensure efficient delivery of government services.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting also included Additional Commissioner Asghar Shahbaz Rand and Commissioner Barkhan Waqar Khurshid Alam, who provided a detailed briefing on the current state of health, education, law enforcement, and other critical sectors within their districts. The discussions focused on the ongoing measures to address sectoral challenges and the urgent need to fill vacant posts, particularly in healthcare and education.

Commissioner Hasan directed that every Deputy Commissioner and their subordinate officers should closely monitor development projects to ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard. He stressed the importance of holding open courts in remote areas to listen to and resolve people’s grievances promptly. Regular review meetings and progress reports from all district officers were mandated to maintain momentum and accountability in addressing public issues.

The commissioner also outlined a forthcoming plan to visit all districts to inspect development projects personally, reinforcing the administration’s proactive approach to governance. He affirmed that exemplary performers would be recognized, while those failing to meet expectations would face strict actions.
