Loralai District Education Group Takes Decisive Action to Improve School Operations

Loralai: The District Education Group of Loralai, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Miran Baloch, held its monthly meeting to address various challenges facing local educational institutions, including absenteeism among teachers and the status of previously closed schools.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw contributions from several key officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Zehri and representatives from both the male and female education sectors. The District Education Officer reported significant progress, noting that 17 previously closed primary schools have reopened, and education has resumed therein. Additionally, stringent measures have been implemented against teacher absenteeism, resulting in the suspension of 18 teachers and salary deductions for others.

Deputy Commissioner Baloch emphasized the administration’s commitment to revitalizing education in the district. He highlighted ongoing efforts to reopen all closed schools and ensure adequate staffing. The meeting underscored the importance of teacher accountability, with the Deputy Commissioner warning that absentee teachers would face severe consequences.
