Loralai Development Projects Under Scrutiny to Enhance Transparency and Accountability

Loralai: The Directorate of Development for Loralai Division, chaired by Muhammad Arif, recently reviewed the progress and plans for both ongoing and upcoming development projects for the fiscal year 2023-24. The meeting saw participation from key local government and development officials who discussed the status of these projects, aiming to boost transparency and accountability in their execution.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included prominent figures such as Director Local Government Sajid Naeem, Exxin PHE Muhammad Ali, and representatives from various sectors including education, roads, buildings, irrigation, and agriculture. The officials provided detailed explanations on the progress of the development schemes, the rate of work completion, and the allocation and utilization of funds for each project.

Muhammad Arif emphasized the importance of stringent monitoring and auditing of the projects to ensure efficiency and corruption-free execution. He highlighted that, following directives from the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the public is encouraged to raise any objections they might have regarding these projects. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure public accessibility to information and to involve them in the governance process, thereby preventing any potential misuse of development funds.
