Loralai Administration Recaptures Girls’ Schools, Launches New Educational Era

Loralai: In a decisive move to reclaim educational facilities, the Loralai district administration has successfully seized control of multiple girls’ primary schools that were illegally occupied, restoring access to education for the local communities.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Loralai Miran Baloch, the district administration conducted operations to recover Kali Murtat Janinder School and Qila Jannat School, along with a special team force-led rescue at Surat Khan Delhi School. These efforts come in response to prolonged illegal occupations that deprived many girls of their basic educational rights.

The recaptured schools are set to be handed over to the education department on Tuesday, marking a significant step in revitalizing the region’s educational infrastructure. Since assuming office, Deputy Commissioner Baloch has prioritized education and health, initiating stringent measures against absenteeism and the misuse of school properties.

A committee chaired by Assistant Commissioner Buri, including the District Education Officer and District Health Officer, has been established to oversee the operational revival of closed educational and health facilities, ensuring legal accountability for any malpractices. This proactive governance is heralded as the beginning of a new era in Loralai’s education sector, expected to bring forth substantial positive changes in the community.
