Loralai Addresses Educational Challenges with Support from Deputy Commissioner and Teachers’ Association


Loralai: In a significant meeting on October 17th, Deputy Commissioner Miran Baloch, along with leaders from the Government Teachers Association, discussed strategies to overcome challenges facing the local education sector, including staffing shortages, school facilities, and teacher transfers. The gathering aimed to enhance educational services and reinvigorate the commitment to student learning in the district.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included Provincial President Habibur Rahman Moradanzai, District President Gul Khan, and other members of the association. They presented various issues impacting schools such as the need for more teachers, better facilities, and the management of teacher assignments within union councils. Deputy Commissioner Baloch emphasized the critical role of educators in shaping future generations and urged them to fulfill their duties with dedication to advance the region’s educational standards.



The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of education in national development and highlighted the responsibilities of teachers in imparting knowledge effectively. He advocated for improved school performance measures and the reopening of closed schools, assuring district administration support for these initiatives. Furthermore, he addressed teacher absenteeism as a concern, noting that salaries would be adjusted to reflect actual service delivery, underscoring the need for teachers to be consistently present to ensure educational continuity.
