Light Snowfall Expected in Higher Reaches of IIOJK on October 16-17, Predicts Meteorological Centre

Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar forecasts light snowfall in the higher reaches of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for October 16-17.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the weather conditions in the region are set to remain dry until October 15, with a shift in weather patterns expected mid-month. “From October 11-15, the weather conditions are likely to remain dry,” stated a Meteorological Centre official. He further noted that the territory would experience generally cloudy weather with light rain and occasional light snow in a few higher reaches, accompanied by thunder at scattered locations in the Kashmir valley and isolated places in the Jammu division, between October 16-17.

The forecast from October 18-19 also indicates a possibility of partly to generally cloudy weather, with very light rain expected at isolated places within the Kashmir division.
