Lahore, February 20, 2023 (PPI-OT):Punjab Minister for Local Government and Community Development (LGCD) Ibrahim Hasan Murad promises best possible municipal services, parking, encroachment removal, allied civic amenities and all possible support to the industrialists and businessmen to solve their problems so that the industry and trade in the province could be promoted in the true sense.
He was visiting the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) on Monday. Addressing the members of the LCCI, he said that the LGCD department was bringing innovation in the provision of all services so that the citizens could get such services at their doorstep without difficulty.
Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that the Lahore Chamber had provided immense services in the promotion of local industry and exports and had given the country big business personalities. The provincial minister further said that for the revamping and stabilizing the country’s economy.
He said, “the problems of the business community must be solved on a priority basis to boost economic activities in the country.” Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that the process of issuing birth, death and marriage certificates from the LGCD Department is being made the easiest.
He said, “I have issued special instructions to Lahore Metropolitan Corporation, Lahore Parking Company and Lahore Waste Management Company to ensure road patchwork, encroachments removal, and activation of street lights, sanitation and provision of public services at the best level. The problems of livestock markets are being solved across the province to promote the export of meat and other livestock products.”
On this occasion, caretaker Provincial Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr. SM Tanveer, President Lahore Chamber Kashif Anwar, CEO Punjab Investment Board Jalal Hasan, Senior Vice President Lahore Chamber Zafar Mahmood Chaudhry, former presidents and executive members of LCCI were also present.
