Islamabad: The legal proceedings concerning a leaked telephone conversation between terrorists Kharji Noor Wali Mehsud and Ahmad Hussain, also known as Ghat Haji, have advanced, with new charges filed under Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Act. The call implicated both individuals in directing attacks on government facilities, including schools and hospitals.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, an FIR has been registered at the Police Station CTD in District North Waziristan against both Mehsud and Hussain. Additionally, a separate FIR relates to their alleged involvement in a terrorist attack on a rural health center in the Kirri Shamozai area, as detailed in Dera Ismail Khan’s legal documents.
The contentious phone call, which recently came to light, captures Mehsud instructing Hussain to target state infrastructure, prompting a series of attacks that included the assault on a rural health center, a girls’ school in Mir Ali, and the assassination of a teacher in Tank.
Law enforcement agencies have underscored their determination to bring all members of the Fitnah Al-Khawarij terrorist group to justice, affirming that those involved in these heinous acts will face full legal repercussions without leniency.
