ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed their commendation for the security forces following the successful operation that resulted in the killing of five terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In separate statements released on Monday, both leaders emphasized the nation’s unity and determination to support the armed forces in their efforts to eliminate terrorism from the region.

President Zardari noted that operations against Fitna al-Khawarij would persist until the threat is completely eradicated, highlighting the importance of continued vigilance in this endeavor.

Prime Minister Sharif remarked that terrorists are adversaries of humanity and must be brought to justice for jeopardizing the safety and security of innocent civilians.

The joint statements underscore the government’s commitment to counter-terrorism efforts and reflect a unified stance in addressing security challenges.
