LCCI to Launch Billion Rupee ‘War Fund’ for Armed Forces Solidarity

Lahore: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has unveiled plans to establish a “War Fund” aimed at demonstrating national solidarity with the country’s armed forces during wartime conditions.

President of LCCI, Mian Abuzar Shad, disclosed that the fund has been initiated with an initial allocation of ten million rupees. The ambitious target set for the fund is one billion rupees, a goal that Shad believes will be achieved in the near future.

The announcement was made during a conversation with the Lahore correspondent of Radio Pakistan, underscoring the LCCI’s commitment to supporting the armed forces.

The “War Fund” initiative reflects a broader effort by the business community to stand in unity with national defense forces, particularly in challenging times.
