Islamabad, Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Azam Nazeer Tarar, engaged in discussions today with a delegation from the International Parliamentarians Congress (IPC). Led by IPC President Abdel Rahim Maaia, the delegation comprised Secretary General Sitara Ayaz, Assistant Secretary General Ijlal Ali Khan, and Deputy Speaker Jordan.
According to Press Information Department, the IPC delegation provided Minister Tarar with insights into the organization’s objectives and activities. The IPC serves as a global platform, uniting members of national parliaments worldwide to collectively address global and regional challenges. During the meeting, the delegation also deliberat
ed on the establishment of human rights committees within the IPC framework. Minister Tarar praised the IPC’s endeavors to broaden its membership base and facilitate cultural exchange among parliamentarians on an international scale. He further acknowledged the organization’s significant contributions in tackling pressing human rights issues. Wrapping up the discussions, the IPC President presented a report highlighting initiatives concerning road safety.
