Lahore Police Tackles Over 141,000 Complaints This Year, Aiming for Timely Justice

Lahore, The Lahore Police complaint cell has recorded over 141,000 complaints this year, with Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamiana reporting significant progress in processing and resolving these issues.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the CCPO revealed that out of the total complaints received, 90,000 have been processed and more than 50,000 have been disposed of. The distribution of applications across the divisions was also detailed, with Cantt Division receiving 30,000; City division over 24,000; Civil Lines 14,000; Iqbal Town 19,000; Model Town 27,000; and Sadar Division 26,000.

CCPO Kamiana has instructed that addressing the problems presented at police stations, especially those related to criminal activities, should be a high priority. He emphasized the importance of the front desk staff in delivering exemplary service and the necessity for FIRs to be registered promptly. He believes that innovation within the police station infrastructure is key to enhancing service delivery and boosting public trust in the police force.

The Lahore Police Chief underscored the crucial responsibility of the police in delivering timely justice and safeguarding the life and property of citizens, reaffirming the department’s commitment to these duties.
