Lahore, In a notable recognition event, Lahore Police athletes who secured medals at the 20th Men’s National Classic Powerlifting and Bench Press Championship 2024 were honored in a meeting with Capital City Police Officer Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamiana. The commendation highlighted the dedication and success of these officers in national sports.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the event celebrated the achievements of Head Constable Majeed Hussain and Constable Muhammad Rizwan, who both clinched gold medals, along with Head Constable Mehmood, Constable Shakeel Khalid, and Constable Zubair Manzoor, who earned silver medals. Bilal Siddiq Kamiana praised the athletes for their outstanding performance, acknowledging their contribution to elevating the Lahore Police’s prestige. He affirmed the department’s commitment to supporting its athletes, providing necessary resources for their participation in sports, and underlined the role of sports in fostering a healthy society, emphasizing that such activities enhance sportsmanship and social tolerance.
