Lahore Hosts Second Day of Punjab’s Premier Music Competition

Lahore, The second phase of Punjab’s inaugural music competition, organized by the Punjab Council of the Arts, took place today at Al Hamra Hall, featuring young talents aged 14 to 30. The competitors, selected from yesterday’s first round, performed in genres including Sufi, Classical, Folk, and Qawwali. The final stage tomorrow will determine the winners, who will receive cash prizes.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the event drew an impressive audience, reflecting the community’s strong interest in cultural heritage and music. The competition aims to foster peace and celebrate the rich cultural traditions of Punjab through its talented youth. Prizes will be awarded at district, divisional, and provincial levels to encourage participation from across the region.
