Lahore, The Lahore High Court has officially released the results of the written examination for the promotion to the posts of Staff Officer to District and Sessions Judge (BS-18). The announcement detailed the successful candidates and the provisional nature of the list, pending further verifications and appeals. The results are part of the High Court’s efforts to fill key judicial administrative positions within the districts of Punjab.
According to Lahore High Court, candidates Ahmad Sher and Khalid Pervaiz have been declared successful in the examination and are slated for postings in Nankana Sahib and Khanewal, respectively. However, the list remains provisional and does not guarantee the right of appointment as final decisions are subject to compliance with set criteria and subsequent reviews.
The release further mentions that one Mr. Ayaz Sultan Cheema, previously ineligible, was provisionally allowed to appear in the examination pending a service appeal’s resolution. The outcome for Mr. Cheema remains withheld until a final order from the Honourable Punjab Service Tribunal. In addition, the press release issues a cautionary reminder regarding the accuracy and completeness of the information provided by candidates, indicating that any discovered deficiencies or misstatements could lead to the cancellation of the candidacy and subsequent proceedings under relevant rules.
