According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting,Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the 15th OIC Islamic Summit Conference in Banjul, The Gambia. During the meeting, both officials agreed to sustain their efforts to advance bilateral relations across various domains, with a particular focus on bolstering economic cooperation.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized Pakistan’s keenness to elevate the longstanding fraternal ties with Kuwait into a mutually beneficial economic partnership, underscoring the importance of fostering collaboration in economic endeavors.
Additionally, the two leaders expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and urged the UN Security Council to take immediate steps to facilitate a ceasefire in Gaza.
