Lahore, July 31, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar praised the staff of all relevant institutions for foolproof security and other arrangements during the month of Muharram. In a video message, IG Punjab thanked the police officers and officials as well as other institutions and said that it is not appropriate to give the credit of the best Muharram security arrangements to the police only, the credit of some bold decisions goes to everyone. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi’s decision not to stop mobile service during Muharram was taken by Chief Secretary Punjab, intelligence agencies, home department and law enforcement agencies including Rangers.
