Islamabad, July 18, 2023 (PPI-OT): King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has sponsored 12 medical camps in Pakistan to combat blindness and eyes diseases. These camps, being organized in collaboration with Al-Basar International Foundation and Al-Ibrahim Eye Hospital Karachi, are aimed to provide advanced eye care facilities to individuals who lack access to specialized treatment or cannot afford it.
The medical camps are strategically set up in rural and urban areas of Sindh and Baluchistan Province, targeting regions where eye care services are limited. Under this program, more than 50,000 medical examinations and over 5,000 surgeries will be provided along with 12,000 glasses for vision correction, using the medications prescribed by doctors.
This initiative ensures that individuals do not only receive essential treatment but also have access to the necessary eyewear to enhance their visual capabilities. The camps were held in the cities of Karachi, Matli, Kundairo, Shikarpur, Kharan, and Kalat, allowing residents from these areas to benefit from specialized eye care services and regain their vision. Through these medical camps, KSrelief has made a significant difference in the lives of thousands of patients, restoring their sight and providing hope for a brighter future.
