KSA, Iran, Turkiye, and Kuwait Extend Condolences Over Pakistan Floods

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkiye, and Kuwait have expressed their sorrow over the loss of life due to the severe floods in Pakistan, highlighting a concerted regional response to the natural disaster.

The Foreign Affairs ministries of Saudi Arabia and Turkiye issued separate statements extending their condolences to the government and the people of Pakistan, acknowledging the severity of the floods and the impact on communities.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his grief and extended an offer of assistance to those affected by the floods. His message reflected a commitment to support Pakistan during this challenging time.

In a direct diplomatic gesture, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister reached out to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar of Pakistan. The conversation focused on condolences for the loss of life and included an offer of support for relief efforts in the flood-impacted regions.

These expressions of sympathy and offers of assistance underscore the regional solidarity with Pakistan as it grapples with the aftermath of the devastating floods.
