Karachi, In a significant meeting, FC Commandant Moazzam Jah Ansari met with Zafarullah Khan Umarzai, the Special Assistant to the Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Transport and Housing, to discuss the role of security forces in the province’s development and peace maintenance.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting focused on the importance of public cooperation in sustaining peace in the region. The Special Assistant emphasized that while the sacrifices of the security forces have been crucial in establishing peace, the involvement of the public is equally vital. He stressed that development is contingent on the establishment of law and order, and a peaceful environment is essential for prosperity.
FC Commandant Muazzam Jah Ansari echoed these sentiments, assuring that the security forces are committed to making every sacrifice necessary for maintaining law and order. He highlighted the unacknowledged sacrifices of the forces in ensuring peace, particularly in the merged and southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Ansari proposed that deploying 8 to 10 platoons of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s forces, currently serving in different parts of the country, to the tribal areas could significantly aid in controlling security problems.
Responding to this suggestion, the Special Assistant expressed his intention to present this issue for approval at the next provincial cabinet meeting, indicating the government’s proactive approach in addressing security challenges in the region.
